Pittsgrove.com is an independent local publication, not part of Pittsgrove Township government or any organization we cover.
Geographic scope
Our first responsibility is Pittsgrove Township. We include Elmer and regional services only when they directly affect people in Pittsgrove.
What the labels mean
- Official
- Information from a government body, school, library, public-safety agency, or another responsible institution.
- Community
- Information supplied by a local group, organizer, or resident and reviewed before publication.
- Editorial
- Context, explanation, or judgment written by Pittsgrove.com.
Sources and summaries
We summarize for speed and clarity, preserve the source name, and provide a View original link for factual items. We use our own wording and keep each summary short relative to the original source. Readers should use that source for complete or time-sensitive details.
Corrections, withdrawals, and archives
Archive membership and order are retained for accountability, but verified corrections update archived wording. Withdrawn items appear as neutral notices or are removed from public view; their private or disputed details are not republished.
Community platforms
At launch, Pittsgrove.com does not automatically collect Facebook posts or material from private groups. We do not reproduce private contact information or private-group material. Any future community-platform trial will be limited, human reviewed, and respectful of group expectations.
Photos and rights
We use a photo only when we created it, received permission, or have a clear license to publish it. Credit does not replace permission.
